For Members Affected by the Strikes

Please be advised that after careful consideration and monitoring of the ongoing labour actions in the U.S. resulting in a considerable work stoppage in the film and television industries in Canada for the past 5 or more months, the CEIRP Retirement Committee has enacted a temporary revision to Policy No. 3 for Extreme Hardship Withdrawals.

This will be in effect starting October 1, 2023, until two months after the ratification of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA agreements.

During this period, the Retirement Committee will consider hardship withdrawal requests related to financial hardship due to the strikes. For more information and to apply, please contact the Group RRSP Administrator of your IATSE Local or DGC District Council.
